Lightbulb add observe for OWN GUILD BATTLES FFS!

i mean isnt it obviously should have been added when the "Observation mode" has been added?

so if ur guild is rank 1000+ or whatever cant u watch the gvg?

i want to watch gvg my guild have been doing and watch our mistakes, "holes" in builds etc...

but u cant...

so as it said:

add the option to watch your OWN guild battles after they have been played please! im not asking to see any guild fights that are low rank guilds (high rank w\e) just my own guild... like every member of the guild should be able to watch it...

a progress to it should be like watch any other competation ur guild members have been doing (tombs etc) but thats too much let's say each pvp tournament that the guild played in as a full team...

what u say? proirity to first suggestion please...

Of course not, can you imagine the amount of "storage" that it is going to take up to store each and every single GVG battle going on?

Not like the outcomes of GVG matter in the slightest to the rest of us PvEers

I rather they devote those resources to giving us more.

dont have to store them for long... find some sulotion in the middle...

store for 24 hours and only rated games... store for 30 mins the unrated...

something like that ... give me link to download record of the fight to my comp so it wont take their storage...

edit:
i dont think it been recorded like a movie u download from sites like .avi\.mpg files... i think it's like a record of things taht happend (bet it doesnt weight as much as .avi files :P )

How about release an addon so that people can easily record their guild battles to the harddrive etc.

/signed I was just expressing this while watching some of the regional finals today and my guild was fixing to GvG but there weren't enough slots for me to play in it, but, I would have liked to have watched it.

Catering to just the elite few with this observer mode isn't very fair to the rest of us I don't feel. If you're going to create something in the game it should be created for ALL to use, not just for the elite few.

That's what unrated gvg and smurf guilds are for.

Ok, adding observer mode for every guild is plain and simply unrealistic. Lets figure it takes 20MB (probably a lot more) of storage to store a single battle. Now during gvg right before the ladder reset, my guild found itself against someone listed as rank 10000 (they must have had some serious bad luck to get so low) so this means there are atleast 10000 registered guilds. Now it's unlikely, but has to be accounted for, that every guild could end up in gvg at roughly the same time. Since 2 guilds can use the same ob mode data, thats 5000 seperate items that must be able to be stored.

5000 * 20MB = 100000MB of storage minimum, on top of that required for characters, etc.

then again let people the option to record the gvg wont take any space...

and also i dont mean to store the fights for unlimited time just about store it for an hour after the gvg... then auto delete

Wow someone is arrogant...

Anyway, I agree they should add a function to download it to your hardrive, and then be able to play it from there.

/signed great idea because we saw our 3 battles when the latter was reset, but will probably never see it again. Recording them with something is a great idea and maybe anet should consider it.
